CYMCAP POWER CABLE ANALYSIS SOFTWARE

CYMCAP is a specialized software for calculating the load-bearing capacity of underground cables, released by CYME T&D International and widely used in consulting projects related to underground cables in the world. The software complies with the standards of IEC, Neher-Mcgrath, Cigre, IEEE…, allowing users to build detailed cable structures according to the manufacturer’s technical specifications such as diameter, thickness and thermal resistivity of each type of cable material according to each separate voltage level for both HVAC and HVDC cables. In addition, users can simulate cable installation conditions according to actual conditions such as burial depth, temperature of the environment around the cable, thermal resistivity of soil and rock, temperature and load carrying coefficient of the cable according to many different installation methods such as direct burial, in conduit, in air or buried under the sea… CYMCAP has been widely applied in analyzing the load carrying capacity of underground cables in major countries such as: USA, Japan, China, Europe,…
